Ville Platte is a great city, filled with hard working people, whose combined spirit makes
this a special place to live. Whether its strolling through one of our parks, eating in one of
our great restaurants, reading about our Cajun history, listening to our music or even
enjoying one of our festivals, I am always mindful of the great home Ville Platte has provided
to us all.
I love our city. I love its people. If you love your city as I know you do, then you have to be
willing to fight on its behalf, to fight for the things that make our city a better place. As your
Mayor, I will continue to bring my passion for Ville Platte and its people to the fight to bring
about positive change and to build a great future for our children and their families. I share
with each of you the desire to make our city a better place. I ask for your vote because I
am deeply committed to this city, and as your Mayor, I want to continue to make a difference
in Ville Platte because it is worth fighting for.
I strongly support business and I am the candidate that has never nor shall I ever
organize or support a boycott against our business community. I understand the
importance of our business leaders and their contributions to our City. My office
has never been used in anger. I do not believe in the abuse of power.
With your vote I will continue to bring my passion to the office of Mayor. Working together
we can continue to move Ville Platte forward, we will continue to improve our streets,
sidewalks and finish the water project.. Working together with our Chamber of Commerce
and others we will begin to attract new companies to our area to provide the jobs of the
future. I will work to preserve and protect the publics safety, our environment and all of our
economic development efforts to date. With your continued support, you have my pledge
that I will continue to stand up for Ville Platte and I will continue to fight for you.

It has been my honor to serve as your City Councilman and Mayor for over 28 years. I have
represented you both within a district and at-large. I have been your councilman and your mayor
always speaking out for you and for the great employees of our city. Now I ask to continue
